Hope Conference 2013, 8/27-58

I found this thought provoking video from the anti-human trafficking organization, Hope for Justice, which is based in Manchester, England.  I really like how they use media to help people understand how sex trafficking occurs.  It is so important to accurately and effectively educate the public on the means to human trafficking.  However, it is important to do research to make sure that media conveys accurate portrayal of situations and stories expressed.  This means that it is important to make sure organizations are displaying correct statistics and information.  I did however, already check up on this video for you, and the story it shares holds true!  While I was on the Hope for Justice website I saw that they have an upcoming conference, and so...

Calling all those in the UK!

If you are in the UK, definitely check out the organization, Hope for Justice.  They are actually having a conference next week Tuesday-Wednesday!  It seems like Hope Conference 2013 is a worship based event where people come together to worship God, pray for an end to human trafficking, and share what activists have learned and accomplished over the past year, as to learn for the future.  Below is a video referencing Hope Conference 2012.  You can find out more about Hope Conference 2013 by clicking the image below.  You can purchase tickets through their Eventbrite website, here.

Never forget the blessing of Freedom!

P.S. If you are in New York, Pennsylvania, or Ontario, Free-Them is hosting their 4th Annual Freedom Walk which the BASI Buffalo team will be attending!!! I AM SO PUMPED! Hope to see you there!  Check out photos from last year's event by clicking here.
